Rebus

Rebus is a series based on the novels of Ian Rankin, one of Scotland's well known contemporary writers of mysteries. Detective Inspector John Rebus (John Hannah) of the Edinburgh CID takes to the streets in search of the criminals committing the murders, drug dealing, money laundering and other crimes against his fellow Scots. Four episodes in total were made: Black & Blue, The Hanging Garden, Dead Souls and Mortal Causes, three of which are on this new release from Universal Playback.

Presented on a 2 disc set, the three episodes run to 98 minutes each, and were originally broadcast between April 2000 and September 2001 on ITV, reaching 8 million viewers. The series proved popular enough for a new set of episodes to be currently in production and set for broadcast later this year.

The answer to the competition question to win one of two copies of this series was Foru Wedding's and a Funeral. I would like to congratulate Stuart hibberd of Southport, and Hilary Jones of Cardiff on gettign the answer right and being drawn out of the virtual hat. Your prizes will be winging their way to you shortly.
